The old child's doll swing was so adorable, I could not pass it up. I could put it on my front step with a plant on the seat or just keep inside as a decorative piece. I could see it under a Christmas tree or on top of one of my cabinets. I just love it! Yes, to your right, you see another ladder. It was dirt cheap so I could not pass it up. There are so many uses for ladders, outside in the garden or inside holding quilts. I love the white patina it already has!

More great finds this weekend

Memorial Day finds..
Here some great finds I discovered at the Memorial Day sales this weekend! I just love the ladder, it was very cheap and holds some great stuff, the top was made larger to hold bigger pots. The cabinet was such a great find....it is a keeper (for me of course). The old chicken coop crate was a great buy from my friends at their new shop, Creekside Cabin Primitives, in Jefferson, Ohio (just opened up and it is a great place to shop for primitives- I highly recommend you stop and check it out-it is located on State Route 307). Some of these items will be for sale at my neighborhood block sale-end of June.
Robinson's farm
This weekend, I went to a primitive sale at a beautiful farm in Fowler, Ohio. The furniture was unbelievable and priced reasonable. Unfortunately, I am not looking for large pieces but I could of gone crazy! The vendors with their primitive goods were unbelievable! I took a tour of the owner's home, which was decorated in primitives, it was stepping back in time. I was not allowed to take any pictures so the only thing I could take was a picture of the barn where all the vendors set up inside. The owner's husband built the barn just for the primitive sales.
